Career Guidance and Counselling Cell

A unit of the Career Guidance and Counselling Cell is functioning in the school since 2003. The Cell guides students in the selection of suitable course for higher studies and career. Motivational sessions, skill development, personality development and stress management classes by experts are arranged frequently under the auspices of the unit. Career guidance and counselling programmes aim at guiding the students to be more informed and to offer them better educational, career and counselling support.

Mr. Mubeen K.T, Dept. of Physiotherapy, won the Best Career Master award-2018 and Mr. Saidalavi K, Dept. of Biology won the Best Career Master award-2020 from the Directorate of VHSE for their excellence in organizing a wide range of programmes under the Cell.

The Cell, of late, has become a catalyst in popularizing Vocational Higher Secondary Education and its courses and in the management of admission proceedings through the single window system. Another commendable work of the Cell is organizing Job Fairs every year attracting firms and institutions, both State owned and those of the private sector. Moreover, a well-maintained reading corner with periodicals and newspapers is functioning under the CGCC. Mr. Habeeburahiman T V, Department of Automobile, is the current Career Master.
